Empowering Women International is a pan-African and international ecosystem dedicated to developing women's leadership and creating bridges between Africa and its diasporas.
We bring together women leaders, entrepreneurs, experts, mentors and change agents around a common ambition: to strengthen their capacity to act, to undertake, to transmit and to contribute to the transformations of their territories.
EWI is not limited to creating a network. We develop spaces for training, reflection, cooperation, mentoring and networking, allowing skills, experiences and generations to meet.
Our belief is simple: when a woman develops her leadership, gains access to the right connections and transforms her expertise into the ability to act, her impact can extend beyond her individual journey to benefit an entire community.

Amina Lutumba Ndoy est entrepreneure, formatrice, conférencière, mentor et actrice du leadership et de la transformation en Afrique et dans ses diasporas.
Fondatrice et Présidente d’Empowering Women International (EWI), elle œuvre à faire émerger des femmes capables de penser, porter et conduire les transformations de leurs territoires, tout en créant des passerelles entre l’Afrique et ses diasporas.

Son parcours se situe à la croisée du leadership, de l’entrepreneuriat, de la formation, de l’accompagnement, de l’engagement associatif et de la coopération internationale. Cette pluralité nourrit une approche qui dépasse le leadership individuel pour relier identité, innovation, intelligence collective, transmission et impact.
Son engagement s’est construit au plus près des réalités de terrain. Il l’a conduite à développer et à porter des initiatives consacrées à l’autonomisation des femmes, à l’accompagnement des parcours, à la transmission intergénérationnelle et à la reconnaissance des familles monoparentales.
Au fil des années, elle a transformé l’expérience en expertise, l’engagement en action et l’action en capacité de mobilisation. Son approche repose sur une conviction : le leadership commence par la connaissance de soi, mais prend toute sa dimension lorsqu’il devient capacité à agir, fédérer et transmettre.
À travers Empowering Women International, Amina Lutumba Ndoy porte une vision résolument tournée vers l’Afrique et ses diasporas : créer des espaces où les femmes peuvent développer leurs compétences, affirmer leur leadership, construire des alliances et contribuer pleinement aux transformations de leurs territoires.
Elle défend une conviction forte : l’Afrique ne doit pas seulement accompagner les transformations du monde. Elle doit aussi les penser, les façonner et y inscrire sa propre vision.

Connected, Human, and Agile Leadership: We are training a new generation of African leaders who embody leadership based on vision, digital skills, and listening, rather than titles and hierarchical power. We propel entrepreneurial innovation led by African women, integrating technology and artificial intelligence without losing the human soul and African values. HORIZON 3: Collective Intelligence
The Power of the Circle: Bringing People Together, Co-creating, and Transcending Borders. We are building a powerful ecosystem where cooperation, solidarity, and co-creation replace competition and individualism. Our approach: - Create a pan-African network of women leaders who support each other - Facilitate collaboration between entrepreneurs, mentors, and investors - Organize co-creation and mutual support circles - Foster strategic transcontinental partnerships - Cultivate a culture of knowledge and resource sharing. Our Global Mentorship Program activates this vision by connecting African women with each other and with international leaders, creating a web of solidarity and opportunity.
HORIZON 4: Afro-Diaspora Renaissance
Reclaiming Your History to Become the Author of Your Own Future: We support African women in reconnecting with their roots, embracing their multiple identities, and drawing on the richness of their heritage to build a powerful future. Our approach: - Celebrating the diversity and strength of African identities - Reconnecting African women on the continent and in the diaspora - Building upon ancestral African values (Ubuntu, solidarity, resilience) - Deconstructing limiting narratives about African women - Creating authentically African leadership, not a copy of Western models. We build bridges between African women of all backgrounds, uniting the strengths of the continent and its diaspora to build a united, proud, and prosperous Africa.
HORIZON 5: The Fifth Horizon
The Living Synthesis: Building, Connecting, and Transforming with the Intelligence of the Heart. The fifth horizon is the convergence of the four previous ones: a generation of embodied African women who integrate human leadership, ethical innovation, collective intelligence, and pride in their identity to transform the world. Our ultimate vision: - To develop well-rounded leaders who embody all horizons - To create a movement of African women who transform the continent and the world - To connect ancestral heritage with cutting-edge technologies - To act with the intelligence of the heart: compassion, courage, and vision - To build a lasting legacy to be passed on to future generations. Empowering Women International is this living synthesis. We are the bridge between tradition and modernity, between Africa and the world, between dream and reality. Coopérative Internationale de Modernisation des Initiatives Féminines Africaines
La Maison CIMIAF est une initiative d’Empowering Women International dédiée à l’encadrement, à la modernisation et au développement des initiatives communautaires portées par les femmes en Afrique.
Elle agit dans des secteurs essentiels tels que l’agriculture, l’accès à l’eau potable, la gestion et la valorisation des déchets et le leadership, avec une attention particulière portée aux mamans solos, jeunes filles-mères, femmes victimes de violences, femmes précarisées, ex-incarcérées et personnes en situation de handicap.
Sa mission est de permettre à ces femmes de passer d’une économie de survie à une économie formelle et durable, en valorisant leurs savoir-faire et en structurant leurs activités.
À travers des partenariats stratégiques et l’accès à des terres agricoles exploitables, CIMIAF développe un accompagnement qui couvre toute la chaîne : de la plantation à la récolte, de la transformation à la commercialisation des produits.
La Maison CIMIAF fait ainsi de l’autonomisation économique des femmes un levier de développement communautaire et territorial.

Women remain the foundation of our society and we must support their actions. I am convinced that the economic and social future of a country cannot be achieved without the voluntary intervention of resource people to guide, advise and direct as a mentor for the development of projects of communities of women and men who have the ambition to contribute to positive change in society. For my part, I was chosen by Mrs. Lutumba Ndoy Amina as a sponsor of her socio-economic activities, her associative initiatives through Les Parents Soulagés ASBL, Femme Noire Femme Africaine ONGD Congo and as an honorary member of the Empowering Women International Sponsorship Committee, in her fight and her desire to carry and repair social injustices to bring help to those who need it. It was a great joy to be associated with this beautiful human adventure, of sharing, giving and receiving. Empowering Women International, an organization run by its president behind which every day is placed an assignment, a problem, a proverb that allows us to reflect within ourselves. Regularly despite COVID, it also organizes itself so that we can work on the issues that concern us, I say my very dear Amina, you should have been created and God created you. As an Honorary member of the EWI Sponsorship Committee, I made Empowering Women International my entity. I was seduced by the initiative and investment of these women from the diaspora, through this Link that Mrs. Lutumba Ndoy Amina was able to make so that specific reference heads can allow us to work on issues that Africa needs. Congolese and African women can participate in the development of society while respecting our cultures. They should be aware that category A "Women" exists simultaneously with category B "Men". Complementarity must therefore be respected. It is up to women to exploit and develop their potential. And it is up to men to consider women as human beings in their own right in order to travel together without quarreling. It is not about a battle but rather about being complementary.
