Les Parents Soulagés ASBL and Femme Noire Femme Africaine ONGD Congo in partnership with, KAM Foundation, Aide-toi et le ciel t'aidera, La Main Dans La Main ASBL, LAMAE ASBL as well as LITIOMBE ASBL supported and encouraged by Empowering Women International, Empowering Business International, invite you to the conference organized on the occasion of International Women's Rights Day for a debate around the theme "Women and Digitalization". Digital is a formidable tool for emancipation, innovation and awareness. It is even an essential vector in the promotion and construction of gender equality. In this context, how to act? How to give half of humanity the place that is theirs? Solutions exist: the diversity of digital professions, the training of women developers, the awareness of boys and girls on these subjects from childhood. In Asia or Africa for example, the diversity of the sector is clearly visible. Women therefore have their place in digital: following in the footsteps of the pioneers, and on every continent, thousands more are ready to take over today. Promoting diversity in digital social entrepreneurship also means multiplying its impact. It encourages women to get involved, it ensures their economic future and their visibility. However, digital does not cover the same realities everywhere in the world. If in Europe, for example, one of the major challenges is women's access to digital professions (developer, coder, chief digital officer, etc.). In other regions of the world, awareness-raising through new media is also needed. The digital era, despite everything, can disrupt these practices through its immediacy, its power of diffusion, its capacity for renewal; digital technology can change the codes! These values of respect for others, openness, solidarity, responsibility... are values shared by social entrepreneurship, so let's go! Event limited to 30 people, please register to receive your access code.
