Congolese and African women can participate in the development of society while respecting our cultures. They should be aware that category A "Women" exists simultaneously with category B "Men". Complementarity must therefore be respected. It is up to women to exploit and develop their potential. And it is up to men to consider women as human beings in their own right in order to travel together without quarreling. It is not about a battle but rather about being complementary. There is no superiority or inferiority complex but just a complementarity complex. Nicole NTUMBA BWATSHIA
Why did I join this structure? I believe in African women and in their enormous potential as well as in their more than essential role for the development of African society through the education of children and the enhancement of their image. For this the woman must know her story, come to terms with her past in order to better understand the present to sculpt a future in line with her person. The African woman must realize that it is wrong her place was not than looking after the house and that it played a much more important role in the old days before the arrival of the colonizer. The woman is a centerpiece in the future development of Africa and it is up to us to make her understand the thing also life upstream i.e. towards isolated women, married, single or widows and downstream it is up to say towards young relationships by making them aware of their enormous potential. The African woman is beautiful, intelligent, gifted with intellectual as well as manual qualities and well supervised and guided, she can only bring Africa to its flourishing. AJ Mulumba

Start small, climb the ladder by working hard ... Go through the stages, overcome obstacles by gaining experience ... Learn from your failures, do not give up at the first defeat ... Advance despite the hard knocks of life, refuse to give up until your goal is reached ... No one will accomplish your vision better if it is not yourself! #MisterDamnGood

After 20 years as an educator, I obtained a bachelor's degree in social worker in 2020 and am currently working on a master's degree in social engineering and action. My various interventions with EWI and in La Tribune Des Femmes Leaders allowed me to gain confidence in myself, in my skills as women, to raise my head and tell myself that I am a fighter, a woman who builds her life by putting his skills in the service of others. By my example, I hope to be able to show other women that even if we have not started well in life, even if we encounter pitfalls and moments of great suffering, even as a solo mom, ... each one has in her the strength and resources to move forward and achieve her goals, step by step. The feedback that I received after the live was very positive and encouraging, which helped me even more to recover and to launch myself in the master which I undertook this year, at full blast. For the moment, as I am doing a master's degree, my appointment has not yet brought me any benefit. I hope that in 2 or 3 years, when I develop my project in Senegal, it will be an asset to find support and support, whether human, material and financial ...

My nomination to the EWI competition brought me great visibility in my country but also internationally. She opened many doors to me, including my nomination to several other competitions, and helped me put special emphasis on my activities. For me, this appointment was a challenge, that of never giving up my dreams and going beyond, fighting for this cause which is very close to my heart. That of defending all young girls and women around the world. It has enabled me to create today a reception and listening center for all girls and women victims of violence in Guinea. Nowadays, this center has a headquarters and a website. We organize monthly meetings where all the girls get together, confide and discuss their problems in order to find concrete solutions. Basically, this appointment helped me dream bigger, and fight to achieve my goals.

I was invited by the EWI Network to answer a few questions in order to share my impressions during the International Conference in Kinshasa on 10/28/2021. I am Lucie Longo, I was invited to participate in person at the October 28 face-to-face conference in Kinshasa. I often participate in this kind of events because I evolve in this field and we also organize this kind of events. The speakers were very good and interesting. The topics discussed were topical. My advice to EWI for the future is to have respect for the time, otherwise a very good performance. Best wishes
Mrs Lucie LONGO
It is a joy to be able to develop a project around leadership through the valuation of women. A pride to be surrounded by plural women from different spheres. Discovering that empowering oneself is a duty to change the world of today into an opportunity for the generations of tomorrow. Confirm that the woman has her place around the discussion table, to debate and take the necessary decisions on the issues that concern her. I am a Black Woman an African Woman and today I extend my hand to you, so that in your turn you extend your hand to the woman next to you will take your hand and offer it to another woman who will do even, so that together we can help build a better world. Alone, I can do nothing but with you, she and you we can only achieve it! Just By Me #Soleotop!
